groovesMAXXING

your friend with good taste in dance music 📈

the deal

we listen to everything.
you get the good stuff.

house, techno & indie dance, curated like a friend texting you bangers. new releases every friday, live sets worth your hour, and hidden gems you can't stream anywhere else.

683 artists followed. 1,000+ tracks curated. zero skips. no ads, no sponsors, no corporate playlist politics. just taste, maxxed.

the story

why this exists

groovesmaxxing started the way every good obsession does: one person sending way too many songs to the group chat. the playlists got long. the follows got longer. eventually "you have to hear this" needed a bigger room than a text thread. so here we are.

the rules are simple. fun first. this page exists because sharing music you love is one of life's genuinely great feelings, and for no other reason. zero budget. everything here runs on free tools and stubbornness. no pay-to-play. no ads, no sponsors, nobody sliding into the inbox to buy a slot. if a track is here, it's because it slaps. lowercase forever. corporate never.

what that adds up to: new releases filtered down every friday so you don't have to dig, live sets that actually earn their runtime, artist deep-dives on the people who define the sound, and the contraband: edits, bootlegs and unreleased heat that never touches a streaming service. consider this your friend with permanent aux privileges.

the sound

three lanes, one groove

vibes ☀️

sunny, funky, disco-leaning house. the daytime groove. french touch energy, rooftop approved.

JØRD · Brunello · OMRI. · Bonafique · Mita Gami · BUJA (BR) · Toman

bumpy 🚧

bass-driven club heaters and melodic night-shift grooves. hard hats required past midnight.

Max Styler · AYYBO · Notre Dame · Adam Ten · Dansyn

contraband grooves 💎

edits, bootlegs & unreleased heat that never made it to streaming. the stuff you send your group chat.

soundcloud-only · free downloads · unreleased ids

who we follow

683 artists deep

see all 683 artists + 88 labels →

the heavy rotation, the eleven that define the page: Solomun · Vintage Culture · Notre Dame · Adam Ten · Mita Gami · Max Styler · AYYBO · TOBEHONEST · PAWSA · Volkoder · Misha Klein · everyone else orbits these.

the gdb pipeline

AYYBO runs GDB out of anaheim, and the bench runs deep: JATO, Millero, N2N, IVRISH. when your most-played artist is also signing your next favorite, the algorithm didn't find them. you did. label > algorithm.

the nu moda pipeline

Max Styler launched Nu Moda in october 2025 and put every one of his 2026 releases on it. the bench: kryptogram, Greggio, Knorst, Jonathan, DvirNuns, Gabss, Brunello, Viot. Notre Dame's rework of You & Me lives here too.

the minimal wave

it reads uk on paper, then the passports come out. Chris Stussy and Toman out of amsterdam, M-High doing a&r for PIV, Kolter in cologne, Sidney Charles gone hamburg to lisbon, Beltran flying the flag for southern brazil, Josh Baker and Max Dean holding it down for manchester and london. rolling basslines, boutique labels, zero big-room nonsense.

the israeli wave

Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Guy Katch, Niv Ast, Rem Siman, OMRI., Gozlan and a dozen more. the maccabi house orbit, where melodic groove got its passport renewed.

the legends

Green Velvet, Mike Dunn, Deep Dish, Armand Van Helden, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, and the king himself, Solomun. respect the foundation or leave the building.

the melodic heavyweights

ARTBAT, Anyma, Adriatique, Bedouin, Monolink, Black Coffee. for when the night needs a narrative arc.

the sunshine committee

Yuksek, The Magician, Purple Disco Machine, Horse Meat Disco, Satin Jackets, Poolside. the daytime cabinet. someone has to govern the rooftop.

the mainstage crossover

Mau P, Dom Dolla, FISHER, John Summit, Chris Lake. the tech house that clawed out of the sweaty club and onto the festival main stage without losing the bounce. proof the big room can still have taste.
