Max Styler's label, based in california. announced on 7 october 2025 and open for business ten days later. it sits inside insomniac music group's label roster, and max runs it with medatone management, the same team behind John Summit's Experts Only, which is the label that put out max's own "Wanna Dance" ep in 2023. full circle in under three years.
Nu Moda basically means 'new style.' It's a reminder to push the boundaries, not do the same thing twice, and look for other people who are naturally in that same mindset.
Max Styler, beatportal, 6 january 2026
the reason it exists is timing. he has said a record can sit six months waiting on somebody else's release schedule and lose all its heat before it ever comes out. so now he does not wait. every max styler release in 2026 has been on nu moda.
it opened with "You & Me" on 17 october 2025, a record he sat on for a year and tested all over the world first. then the co-signs landed, and they are the ones worth reading twice. Vintage Culture remixed it that december. Notre Dame flipped it in january. Solomun reworked "One More" in march, the track max cut with Ad-Apt. none of those three signed here. they put their names on somebody else's record, which is the harder ask, and they all did it before the label turned one 🔥
the roster underneath is the part that says the a&r is real. Greggio, brazilian, based in london, has two on the label and one of them is a joint record with max. kryptogram, serbian, based in chicago. Viot out of belo horizonte. DvirNuns out of tel aviv, twice, once with Dox. WELKER, brazilian by way of los angeles. Knorst, also brazil. MADI (IT) in rome, paired with PETEL. Rem Siman in melbourne. Josh Gigante from the uk with Ugo Banchi in france. plus Nico Rac, Andrew Meller, Jonathan, Mishell, Pavel Petrov, Tyler Hill, Kuuda and Benni Ola. five brazilians on one ten month old label, and names landing from israel, italy, australia, serbia, france and the uk. nobody builds a roster that shape by signing their friends.
most of it moves through the Nexus series, the various artists comps. Nexus 001 arrived on 16 january 2026 with five tracks, exactly the five max had promised on a podcast a month earlier. Nexus 002 followed on 1 may with seven. between them they carried sixteen artists, and fourteen of those already had a page here before nu moda pressed them.
twelve releases in under ten months. twenty five artists have appeared on one, and twenty of them have a page on this site, which is the honest reason this profile exists. today it carries max's six track ep I Don't Think I Can Stop, the largest body of music he has released in a decade 🍾
none of that reaches anyone by itself. julia runs max's socials and every piece of nu moda's marketing, and with the label shipping at this pace the content has never once lagged behind the catalogue. a good part of why nu moda grew this fast is that somebody landed the story every single time. kudos 🔥
quotes are verbatim from the artists' own public posts and interviews, spelling and all. every artist has a page now, 147 starters left to grow into full profiles.
