Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabe make up bedouin, a house duo who met at the BPM festival in playa del carmen, mexico, malki based in boston at the time and abousabe in new york. malki was born in amman, jordan, and abousabe was born in the united states to egyptian parents. they have performed together since 2012 and are now based in miami.

their party brand SAGA began in 2017 as a sunday night residency at heart ibiza, under club owner guy laliberté, and has since moved venues more than once, running at pacha ibiza for several seasons before relocating to chinois ibiza, where its 2026 season runs sundays from 21 june through 4 october under the theme "garden of illusions."

in 2020 they launched their own label, Human By Default, opening it on 27 march that year with the Whistleman ep. it has since grown into a home for a wider release roster beyond their own music.

their breakout record is Petra, filmed live at the ancient site in jordan for the streaming series cercle and released on cercle records in april 2022. their debut album, Temple Of Dreams, followed on human by default on 19 may 2023, built from songs the duo had saved up over years of touring.
