Marius Lauber makes music as roosevelt, based in cologne, germany. he broke through with the Elliot ep in 2013 on greco-roman, a label based in london and berlin, and followed it with his self-titled debut album, Roosevelt, in 2016 on city slang.

in 2017 he revisited that debut for a remix set, Remixed 1, on city slang, bringing in disco and house names to reinterpret the songs.

his sound shifted on Young Romance in 2018, then again on Polydans in 2021, an album he wrote and played almost entirely by himself.

Embrace, his fourth album, followed on 22 september 2023 on counter records and ninja tune. he toured it that year as a three piece, playing 40 dates across the united states before further shows in mexico city and europe.

no upcoming dates are published. his last listed show was 15 august 2025 at the jazz cafe in london.
