Paul Armand-Delille and Alexandre Grynszpan, both resident djs at Le Baron in paris, met behind the decks there in 2012. the name is the front of Paul and the back of Grynszpan. paul is franco-american and grew up in normandy. alexandre grew up in paris and co-founded radiooooo, a radio station you steer by country and decade.
The duo is the smallest format you can have for a band. A lot of musicians travel alone, and so when there's two of you it makes the experience of travelling the world a lot more durable.

the Rivolta ep came in 2013, Dorothy in 2014, and Caravelle in may 2017, which went gold in france. Cyclorama followed in 2021 and carried "Ani Kuni", their biggest single, top ten at home.
22:22 arrived in march 2025 with Metronomy, Beth Ditto and PawPaw Rod on it.
Caravelle was a trip around the world, with Latin and African sounds, and Cyclorama was a trip in time, but 22:22 has a more in-the-moment flow to it.
