never dull grew up in san diego, california, and started producing house and disco tracks in 2017, drawing on his mexican american heritage and the city's coastal energy for his sound.

in 2022 he featured on Deep Down, released 17 june 2022 by Alok, ella eyre and kenny dope on b1 recordings, and he later put out his own edit of the track.
