Mustafa Gündoğdu grew up in hagen, germany, and moved to hanover in 1990 to work as a keyboardist before taking the name mousse T. and building a studio of his own.

in 1993 he co-founded Peppermint Jam with errol rennalls, and in 1998 his single Horny, credited to mousse T. vs hot 'n' juicy, reached no. 2 on the uk singles chart and no. 1 on the uk dance chart.

in 2000 he wrote and produced Sex Bomb for tom jones, which reached no. 3 on the uk singles chart, and in 2004 his own single Is It 'Cos I'm Cool?, featuring emma lanford, peaked at no. 9.

Playing live is everything. The feedback you get from the audience is so important.

he has a run of glitterbox dates at amnesia ibiza through summer 2026, plays love to be festival in harrogate on 5 september 2026, and closes out fool's paradise at fabric in london on 24 october 2026 alongside Michael Gray and junior jack.
