Jean Tonique, born antoine roux, is a producer and multi-instrumentalist from paris who studied classical percussion at the conservatoire before spending seven years as an assistant to film composer éric neveux.

he debuted with the album Well Mannered Frivolity in 2018, followed by sunny side up in 2019, both released via tonique records. his catalogue also carries releases through partyfine and toucan sounds, and his remix work includes takes on tracks by lana del rey, robin thicke and crystal fighters.

his most recent release, CAN YOU FEEL IT?, came out on tonique records on 8 july 2026.
