he grew up in berkeley, california and started making music at twelve after finding a keyboard in a friend's garage. in 2013, straight out of high school, a friend showed him logic and he went into production from there. he dropped out of college, signed to th3rd brain, and the label still puts his records out.

the dance connection is specific rather than vague. Closer, made with Adriatique, came out on x recordings on 3 april 2026. rebūke, vxsion and christian löffler have all remixed The Chase, and he has done remix work for kygo. he is credited as a writer on billie eilish's bitches broken hearts, which the riaa certified gold on 12 december 2019.

his own catalogue runs long and stays independent. Prologue arrived in 2017 after Painting Greys went round in 2015. then Far From Here in 2021, The Last Dance, Pt 2 in 2022, How To Fly On The Ground in 2023 and The Last Dance, Pt 3 in 2025. Threads came out on th3rd brain on 16 january 2026 and Lungs followed on 22 may 2026.

two august 2026 dates are confirmed from the venues themselves. celebrities nightclub in vancouver on 8 august, nineteen and over, ten until four. then big night live in boston on 15 august, twenty one and over, doors at eleven. both are billed under his own name with no support announced.
