dj pp has been putting records out of uruguay for close to twenty years. his beatport history opens on 1 october 2007 with Stigidilaatio on 3rd rail music, then runs through soulman music and south american house across 2008 and 2009, and it has not really paused since.

the volume is the story. beatport carries fifty seven pages of releases under his name, and its own label filter puts one hundred and seventy five of them on ppmusic and seventeen on toolroom, with big blocks on rh2, muzik x press and hotfingers behind those. by mid 2011 he was landing on a new compilation or ep most weeks.

he also records as gabriel rocha. beatport keeps a separate artist page under that name and credits a long line of records to both at once, including Coyhaique, which armada music released on 11 july 2025.

ppmusic is where the bulk of it lives, and it carried most of his 2026 output, with Circo Loco on 10 april, ritual on 24 april, feel the rhythm on 8 may and That Funky Rhythm on 26 june. beatport's top tracks list for him is headed by Aretha, made with jack mood for the same imprint. outside it he took Aimer L'amour to snatch! records on 28 may 2026.

uruguay is a small base for a catalogue this size. his resident advisor biography lists residencies at soho in punta del este, w lounge in montevideo, sonic, central and crobar, with touring dates out to space in ibiza, pacha in munich and revolver in melbourne.

resident advisor logs his first listed event in 2010 and past bookings across buenos aires, peru and chile, including a night at club capital in chile on 9 november 2018 billed as gabriel rocha aka dj pp. no upcoming bookings are published on resident advisor or shotgun as of 2 august 2026, and songkick has him marked off tour.
