birmingham. he started ghostwriting at seventeen and spent years as the producer behind other people's bassline records, including most of Hannah Wants' catalogue, at one point turning out something close to three hundred tracks a year. he calls the sound house & bass, which is his own term for it.

"Rhymes" with Hannah Wants put him on the uk chart at thirteen in february 2015 and ended the anonymous stretch. before that he was half of Cause & Affect with Kane, out on Dirtybird, Rinse and OWSLA.

For me garage will never die, it will slip on and off the radar for a long time in my opinion.

"California Dreamin'" with High Jinx went to number one on beatport and is still his biggest by a distance. he runs Late Checkout, and he is half of Anti Up with Chris Lake, whose first album landed on Atlantic in 2024. he has also put "London's On Fire" out with Max Styler and Audio Bullys.

this summer he is a guest on FISHER's thursdays at [UNVRS] and on the Calvin Harris night at Ushuaïa.
