the name comes from westchase, the stretch north of tampa where he grew up and first picked up the tools. his bandcamp still lists westchase, florida. by march 2025 he was living in miami, where miami new times interviewed him at his liberty city place. the sound is peak time tech house, dark and euphoric at once.

he started chaste records in 2021 and put his own first record out on it instead of shopping it around, on advice from PAWSA.

Pawsa has always approached music as an art form, focusing on its visual elements, sound, and the message it conveys. That perspective shaped the way he taught me to approach my own work. When I sent him some tracks for Solid Grooves, he suggested, 'Hey, why don't you start your own record label?' At first, it sounded like an insane idea.

Botega Vendeta with mandragora came out 1 august 2025 and is the one that travelled furthest, PLAYING WITH FIRE with hayley may landed 4 july 2025, and Little Stranger followed on 3 april 2026. away from chaste he has released DA BEAT on revival new york and the Dopamine EP with Discip, also revival new york, out 28 july 2023.

Scream! arrived on solid grooves on 17 october 2025. edm identity called it his official debut for that label, which Michael Bibi and PAWSA founded in 2015.

august 2026 runs through radius in chicago on 16 august, lost & found in el paso on 22 august, 1015 folsom in san francisco on 28 august and liv in las vegas on 30 august, plus night trip festival arizona at westworld of scottsdale on 29 august. on 25 and 26 september 2026 he is on the breakaway carolina bill at zmax dragway in concord north carolina, billed back to back with Discip. he also appears on the crssd festival fall lineup at waterfront park in san diego, 26 and 27 september 2026.
