the name reads like a duo and it is not. Barry Pearson works alone, and he grew up in rotherham, the small town in south yorkshire he still gets tagged to. he came back from a stint in ibiza and started djing in 2017, then built a studio in a spare room at home before the records started.

the rise was quick and strange. his first record, Dreams, came out in 2020, and by the end of his second year of releasing beatport had placed him at number 58 in its own top 100 producers list for 2021. Lights Go Out landed on myth of nyx on 30 april 2021 and is still the one most people know him by.

I know it's a bit different to the tech house tunes I usually release, but I don't really want to put it in a box and I think it sounds good so here's me putting myself out there and sharing it with you.

he set up his own imprint early, Atom Bomb Music, and his reason for it was flatly practical. he wanted to be able to decide on a monday to put something out the following week. the ATOM. catalogue has carried most of his 2026 singles, among them Can't Get Enough on 13 february 2026, Freak on 3 april 2026 and Inside the place on 31 july 2026.

outside his own imprint the run has been wide. I'll Take The Blame went out on oliver heldens' heldeep records on 21 may 2026, his third for that label and his first there in four years, and there is work on ultra, hexagon, helix records, solotoko, repopulate mars and myth of nyx behind it.

through 2026 he played never have i ever in chicago on 5 february, halcyon in san francisco on 6 february, ministry of sound in london on 17 april and pier 78 at hudson river park in new york on 2 may. no upcoming bookings are published on any of his agency pages or the listing sites.
