beto cohen was born in mexico and has spent his career based in london, with a recorded history stretching back to 2006.

the bulk of his catalogue runs through OKO Recordings, the label he founded, with releases dating back to 2009. he has also released on einmusika recordings, moodmusic and embassy one.

his best known record is Raining Again, released on embassy one in 2012. it kept traveling well past its release, picked up for a remix by eli & fur in 2023 and reworked the same year by roger sanchez as 'black rain'.
