Jesse van der Heijden and Oguzhan Guney, who goes by oz, met at a birthday party as young teenagers on the north side of amsterdam. jesse was already making music and oz wanted to understand how it worked, so they started doing it together. dj mag describes what came out of that as euphoric house and rolling tech house carrying jazz, funk and psychedelic influence, and the ibiza room that hosts their label night calls it groovy, minimal and genre fluid. that spread is why this page does not pin them to one lane.

the record that carried them furthest is Talk To You with 54 ultra, which sat at number three on the uk official singles chart dated 24 july 2026 after twenty weeks on it. before that came Relax My Eyes with abel balder on 11 november 2022 and the debut album The Reset the same year. the third album, Withness, landed on 12 june 2026, twelve tracks built on classic drum machines and eighties tinted textures, with 3ddy across most of it and wayne snow and benny sings among the guests.

they started NO ART in 2018 and it has never been only a label. dj mag calls it a label, collective, fashion line and family unit. the bandcamp page states the thinking plainly: when there are so many different sounds and techniques at one's disposal, it's a waste to repeat what's already done. the roster stays small, with makèz and mateo dufour alongside the duo, and the parties grew out of a debut festival at ndsm werf in july 2022.

on 17 and 18 september 2026 they play alexandra palace in london, two nights promoted by labyrinth and billed by the venue as their biggest uk headline show to date, the second added after the first sold out. a NO ART night follows at unvrs in ibiza on 29 september 2026 with Prospa, toman and miluhska. on 13 november 2026 they play playa pacha at five luxe jbr in dubai as part of the pacha icons series.
